1. Offers and requests
Las offers and requests son un tipo de oraciones interrogativas que sirven para hacer peticiones u ofrecimientos a otras personas de forma educada. Habitualmente se utilizan verbos modales para formar estas oraciones.
- Do you want to come with us?
- (tú) ¿Quieres venir con nosotros?
- Thank you. That would be great.
- Gracias. Eso sería fantástico.

2. ¿Cómo se utilizan las offers?
Cuando hacemos un ofrecimiento, le preguntamos a alguien si le gustaría recibir algo de nuestra parte o si desea que hagamos algo por él. Es habitual responder con yes, please o no thanks al ofrecimiento.

1Shall se utiliza con los pronombres personales I y we.
Recuerda que dependiendo de la situación se utilizará una estructura u otra teniendo en cuenta si formulamos la oración en un ambiente formal o informal.
- Would you like some tea?
- (tú) ¿Le apetecería un poco de té?
- Yes, please.
- Sí, por favor.
Existen otras expresiones que nos sirven para ofrecer nuestra ayuda a a alguien. Estas son algunas de las más habituales:

3. ¿Cómo se utilizan las requests?
Hay varias formas de pedirle a alguien que haga algo de manera formal. A menudo usamos please para hacer que nuestras solicitudes sean más educadas.
